Video: Snake in ceiling fan crashes wedding anniversary party
Diners at a Texas restaurant shrieked in horror as a snake was removed from a ceiling fan directly above them.
A video recorded by Amy Palacios, shows two men at Backyard Bar and Grill in Waco, Texas, attempting to capture the slithering reptile.
One man is seen holding a broom as the other spins the fan around slowly, reports the Daily Mail.
Several diners are heard screaming as they film the moment the two men got the snake down.
'Grab its head!' one man is heard yelling.
The snake then leans forward as it attempted to strike one of the men.
But the man is seen moving his hand slowly and keeps the snake distracted while he reaches for its head with his other hand.
He then grabs the snake by the head as people scream and pulls it off the ceiling fan.
It also appears the snake did bite the man when he grabbed its head, but Palacios said the man seemed to be fine.
According to Palacios, the snake is believed to be a chicken snake, a non-venomous reptile.
The video was posted on Facebook by Palacios on Saturday and has more than 4,000 views.
She said it was her dad who first noticed the snake moving.
'My Dad was like ‘Hey look there is a snake up there the head just moved,’ Palacios said.
It's unclear how long the snake had been curled up around the ceiling fan.
