BCL leader hurt in internal clash dies

Comilla: A Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) local leader, who received bullet injured in an internal clash of the organisation on Saturday, died at a private hospital in Comilla on Sunday morning.

The deceased was Saiful, president of Kotwali thana unit of BCL.

Sources said two groups of BCL locked into a clash in Kandirpar area of the district town on Saturday.  

Both the groups traded gunshots during the melee, leaving 10 people including Saiful injured.

Saiful was admitted to Moon Hospital in the town where he succumbed to his wounds at about 9:30am on Sunday.
