Khulna: The online admission process for the first year BSC-Engineering and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) courses of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) under 2015-16 academic year begins from Thursday and will continue till October 11, said a KUET press release.

Earlier, the KUET authority made the decision at a general meeting of the university’s admission tests committee headed by KUET VC Prof Dr Muhammed Alamgir Hossain.

The KUET VC inaugurated the online admission and submission process at around 10 am as the chief guest at the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) center of the campus.

Among others, all Dean, Head of different departments and registrar, were present, on the occasion.

According to the press release, the admission seekers have been asked to apply through online during the scheduled period and to pay their admission fees through Dutch Bangla mobile banking by October 12.

The admission test will held on November 6 from 9.30am to 12.00pm at KUET campus. The list of illegible admission seekers will be published on October 27. A total of 875 students will be admitted in 11 departments under BSC Engineering and BRUP courses.
