Queen Mary University wants collaboration with Bangladesh universities
Dhaka: Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is willing to establish academic and research collaboration with the leading universities of Bangladesh.
The interest was shown when a four-member delegation of the university, led by its Vice-Principal (International) David Sadler, called on University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Abdul Mannan at the latter’s office on Sunday.
UGC Members Mohammad Mohabbat Khan, Abul Hashem, Md Akhtar Hossain, Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah and UGC Secretary Md Khaled were, among others, present.
The UGC Chairman assured the delegation of extending necessary cooperation in this regard.
Besides, other aspects of higher education, including faculty development and joint research collaboration, came up for discussion at the meeting, said a UGC press release.
