Tuesday’s JSC, JDC exams rescheduled for hartal

Dhaka: Tuesday’s Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will begin at 2:00pm instead of 10:00am due to a half-day hartal called by Ganajagaran Mancha.
The English 1st paper (JSC) exam and Bangla 1st paper (JDC) exam will begin at 2:00pm instead of 10:00am on Tuesday, said a Education Ministry press release.
Ganajagaran Manch called a countrywide half-day hartal for Tuesday protesting the killing of Faisal Arefin Dipan, a publisher, and the attacks on another publisher and bloggers on Saturday.
The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations-2015 began across the country on Sunday with the participation of 2,325,933 students.
