Khulna: The 5th convocation of Khulna University (KU) will be held on 25 November next on the university campus.

Educationalist and Dhaka University Emeritus Professor Anisuzzaman will deliver his speech while Abdul Mannan, chairman of the University Grants Commission, will attend the convocation program as chief guest.

President Abdul Hamid, also the Chancellor of the university will preside over the convocation.

A total 2500 students will attain their graduation certificates while nearly 1,000 guest will attend the convocation.

President Abdul Hamid will inaugurate the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall before the convocation and will also inaugurate the Silver Jublee celebrations of the university after the convocation.

A committee headed by the vice-chancellor of the university Mohammad Fayek Uzzaman was formed to make the convocation a success.
