Rajshahi: The admission test for the Bachelor’s course in 2015-16 academic session of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) will be held on Saturday, a RUET press release said on Friday.

This year, a total of 6,150 students will sit for the entry test. Of them, 815 qualified students will get chance for admission in 12 departments. Test results will be published within 25 November next.

The test will take place in different buildings of the university. Test of 'KA' group will be held from 10:00am to 12:00noon while freehand drawing test for only Architecture Department (KHA Group) from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

The admission seekers have been asked to take their seats 30 minutes before the test start. They were also asked to bring admission card, passport size photograph and other necessary documents. No student will be allowed with mobile phone, tab, iPod, headphone and other electronics devises.

Detailed information relating to the admission test will be available in notice board of administration building or website www.ruet.ac.bd. Similarly, list of eligible students for taking part in the admission test will also be available there.

Besides, for any query relating to the admission test, the concerned persons can contact mobile numbers 01555555021 or 01555555022 during office times from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Already, the university authority has completed the necessary preparations for holding the admission test.

Meanwhile, Vice-chancellor Rafiqul Alam Beg has sought cooperation of all quarters for proper and peaceful holding of the test, the release added.
