Dhaka: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Tuesday inaugurated the online application process for admission in 175 government high schools in the city and district level.

He inaugurated the process in city's Dhanmondi Government Boys' High School.

It is a part of implementation of Digital Bangladesh declared by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said the minister adding that all educational institutions will be brought under the online system very soon.

State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim, Managing Director of Teletalk Bangladesh Limited Gias Uddin Ahmed were also present with Director General of Department of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Professor Fahima Khatun in the chair.

The admission procedure will be continued till 11.59pm on 13 December through http://gsa.teletalk.com.bd.
