Girls outnumber boys in HSC 2017

Dhaka: Female students in the HSC and equivalent examinations have outnumbered male students in term of pass rate this year.
According to the results published here today, percentage of pass of female students is 70.43 while that of the male students is 67.61.
In an average, 68.91 per cent of examinees passed examinations under 10 education boards of the country.
A total of 6, 24,775 male students participated in the examination while the number of female students was 5,38,595.
A total of 20,535 male students secured the maximum Grade Point Average (GPA)-5 this year while 17,434 female students got GPA-5.
