On August 5, Southwest Petroleum University’s scholarship programme and spot admission was held at a Dhaka hotel.

Many interested students and their parents were present at the programme. At the programme the scholarship opportunities and other interesting facilities of the Southwest Petroleum University was discussed. The programme began at 3:00pm and concluded at 5:00pm.

At the event Head of Overseas office, SWPU, Dailei was present as the Chief Guest. She spoke about the different opportunities the university is providing to overseas students. Yangyan, Admission Office, SWPU was present as the honourable guest.

As special guest, Md Nazrul Islam Babu, lawmaker, Bangladesh National Parliament, and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee Ministry of Education spoke at the programme. Among others, Dr. Maruf Mollah and Mohammad Anisuzzaman gave speeches on how to apply in overseas universities. Engr. Sheikh Korban Ali, Chairman Guangzhon MalishaEdu, was the coordinator of the programme.
