Dhaka: The authorities of Dhaka University have banned outsiders’ entry to the university area after 6:00pm on 31 December, centring the thirsty first night.

A press release from the public relations division of the university says the decision was taken to maintain the security and law and order situation of the university. No outsiders and vehicles will be allowed to enter the university after 6:00pm on 31 December. The residential people of the university area will have to return home by 8:00pm.
