Dhaka: Bangladesh government has nationalised 12 model school and colleges across the country.

The Education Ministry issued a notification on Monday in this regard.

The newly nationalised colleges are Mohammadpur Model School & College, Rupnagar Model School & College, Lalbagh Model School & College and Shyampur Model High School & College under Dhaka district, Chittagong Model School & College, Rajshahi Model School & College, Barisal Model School & College, Khulna Model School & College, Sylhet Model School & College, Comilla Education Board Model College, Jessore Education Board Model School & College and Rajshahi Education Board Model School & College.
