Negative marking at IU entry test from this year
Islamic University (IU) authorities have introduced negative marking system for every wrong answer in its first year honours admission test from the current academic session.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the university’s central admission test committee with IU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari in the chair.
The system will be introduced from the upcoming admission test which is scheduled to be held in November 25 to 29, IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif said on Sunday afternoon.
One mark will be deducted for four wrong answers, the registrar added.
More information regarding the admission test procedure is available on the university website at www.iu.ac.bd.
