Dhaka: Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA) will give scholarship to 525 poor, meritorious and physically challenged students of the university.

Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will hand over the scholarships to the students at a function on November 11.

DUAA told a view-exchange with newsmen at Nawab Nabab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban on Monday.

Among others, DUAA president AK Azad and general secretary Ranjan Karmakar, among others, were present at the meeting.

Under the scholarship, each student will get amount of Taka 2,500 per month for four years.
