DU expels 16 students
Dhaka: Dhaka University authorities have expelled 16 students on various charges, reports UNB.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Syndicate held on Sunday night, said DU Proctor Professor Mohammad Amzad Ali.
He also said details will be disclosed in a press release on Monday.
Of them, six were expelled for giving proxy for others at admission tests while six for their link to banned militant outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir, three for sexual harassment and the other was rusticated for vandalising the office of Amar Ekushey Hall provost.
