IU forms body to probe ‘F’ unit question paper leak

Islamic University (IU) authorities formed a five member probe-body to investigate the incident of ‘F’ unit question paper leak under 2016-17 academic sessions.
The committee is led by Professor Kazi Akhtar Hossain, dean of the university’s Businesses Administration Faculty while the other members are - IU English department chairman, Professor AHM Aktarul Islam Zillu, Applied Science and Technology Faculty dean Professor Momtazul Islam, Director of IU Computer Center Professor Poresh Chandra Barmon and the Director of Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium, associate Professor M Baki Billah Bikul, sources at IU registrar office said on Wednesday, reports the UNB.
The probe body was asked to submit their reports within 30 working days, IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif said.
IU vice-chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari said that they formed the body following the order of the Appellate Division of Supreme Court and the probe report will be submitted to SC, he added.
