Dhaka: First Security Islami Bank Ltd (FSIBL) on Wednesday awarded scholarships to 40 meritorious but financially challenged students of Dhaka University (DU).

Each of the the 40 student’s will get Tk 5,000 monthly for one year starting from February.

Vice chancellor of DU Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank (BB) SK Sur Chowdhury and managing director of FSIBL Syed Waseque Md Ali were present at the scholarship hand over programme at DU.
