Dhaka: Mid-secondary examinations, Junior School Certificate and Junior Dakhil Certificate, will be held from November 1 to 17, according to official announcements.

The schedule was finalised at a meeting held on Monday at the primary and mass education ministry with Education Secretary Humayun Khalid in the chair, public relations officer Rabindranath Roy of the ministry said.

He said the two examinations for the students of class eight would be held between November 1 and 17. Primary and Mass-Education Ministry for the first time would conduct the examinations, which were so far being overseen by the Education Ministry.

The eight education boards and the madrasa board, however, will cooperate with the ministry for holding the tests.
