Dhaka: University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman professor Abdul Mannan won the ‘MTC Global Rooshikumar Pandya Life Time Achievement Award-2016’ given by MTC Global, India.

Professor Mannan was honoured with the award for his outstanding contribution to education especially tertiary level education, said a UGC press release on Sunday.

The award giving ceremony will be held in Bangalore, India during the MTC Global’s 6th annual convention to be held on 16 September.

The UGC Chairman will present the keynote paper on higher education at the inaugural session of the Annual Convention.
