Rajshahi University teacher found dead
Rajshahi: Rajshahi University Mass Communication and Journalism Associate Professor Akter Jahan, in her forties, has been found dead.
Police recovered her body from No.303 room of the Juberi Bhaban, residential building for the university teachers, at about 4:00pm on Friday.
Kazi Nasir Ahmed, Assistant Professor of the same department, told NTV Online that Akter Jahan’s body was recovered breaking open the door of the room which was locked from outside. The reason behind the death was unknown and the body was taken to Rajshahi Medical College hospital.
Akter Jahan got separated from her former Husband Tanvir Ahmed, former chairman of the Mass Communication and Journalism department, three years ago. She is survived by a son from that marriage.
