Dhaka: The result of the ‘Ga’ unit admission test (Business Faculty) of Dhaka University for 2016-2017 academic session was published on Thursday.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique announced the result at the central admission office in the registrar building at about 9:00pm.

Some of 2,221students (5.52%) out of total 42,124 admission seekers who applied for available 1,250 seats passed the examination, the VC said.

Sagar Nandi, a student of Dhaka City College, scored 178.40 out of 200 to grab the 1st position while Nayan Islam of the same college became 2nd scoring 176.16.

The result can be viewed from the university website (www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd) or via short message service (SMS) on any mobile operator service.

The "choice form" on the website will have to be filled and submitted from October 9 to October 16.
