Dhaka: The result of the test for admission into MBBS course at the country’s public and private medical colleges for academic session 2016-17 was published on Monday.  

Some 90,000 candidates appeared at the admission test held on October 7, said Porikkhit Chowdhury, senior information officer of the Health Ministry.

A total of 3,212 students were selected for admission into the MBBS course at 30 public medical colleges, said a release of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Meanwhile, the admission test for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course will be held on November 4, Porikkhit said.
