IU admission tests rescheduled
Islamic University: The admission tests for the first year honours courses for the 2016-17 academic session of Islamic University (IU) will start on December 4 instead of November 19.
The decision came from an emergency meeting of the university admission test committee with its vice chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari in the chair, said M Ataul Hoque, director (In-Charge), Information, Publication & Public Relations of the university.
IU pro-vice chancellor Professor M. Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr. M Selim Toha and acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, among others, were present at the meeting.
According to the fresh schedule, the admission tests will end on December 8.
Meanwhile, the university authorities also extended the date of online application process until November 31, he added.
