10 Minute School wins Swiss Embassy Award
Dhaka: 10 Minute School has won the Swiss Embassy Award 2016 for social impact.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith, State Minister for ICT Division Junaid Ahmed Palak and Head of Political, Economic and Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of Switzerland in Dhaka, Christoph Fuchs handed over the prize to the 10 Minute School team at Seedstar in the capital recently, said a press release on Wednesday.
ICT Division Secretary Shyam Sunder Sikder and BASIS President Mustafa Jabbar were also present on the occasion.
With support from the leading mobile phone operator Robi, 10 Minute School has evolved into being the largest digital education platform of the country.
Seedstars World is part of the Swiss group Seedstars who runs this global startup competition in more than 65 emerging and developing markets.
The Seedstars Summit 2017 will take place in Lausanne, Switzerland on 6th April 2017 where the all the winners will battle for equity investments of up to $1.5 million.
