Begum Rokeya univ entrance test May 5, 6
Rangpur: All preparations have been completed for holding admission tests for bachelor courses for the 2014-15 academic sessions at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) on May 5 and 6 next.
Additional police forces will be deployed at all 20 venues, including academic building of the university, and mobile courts will remain active for holding the admission tests in a free, fair and peaceful atmosphere in the city, a press release said this afternoon.
Earlier, the BRUR authority had fixed the previously rescheduled dates for holding the admission tests on May 1 and 3 next against the first time scheduled dates for the same on December 4, 5 and 6 last year.
The university authority and its admission test committee have completes all necessary preparations for holding the tests and the results will be published on May 13 next.
The university authorities have advised the admission seekers, to visit the university website www.admission2014.brur.ac.bd for further details about the whole admission process and necessary information, including seat arrangements for the admission tests.
The admission seeker students have been easily downloading their admit cards for taking part in the admission tests from the university’s website since April 20 last.
According to the university officials, a total of 90,402 students have registered them for taking part in admission tests for more than 1,200 seats in 21 departments under six faculties in the university.
The admission tests for Unit-A under the Faculty of Arts will be held at 9:30 am for Unit-B under the Faculty of Social Sciences at 12:30 pm and for Unit-C under the Faculty of Business Studies at 3:30 pm on May 5 (Tuesday).
The admission tests for Unit-D under the Faculty of Science will be held at 9:30am, for Unit-E under Faculty of Engineering and Technology at 12:30 pm and for Unit-F under the Faculty of Bio & Earth Science will be held at 3:30 pm on May 6 (Wednesday) next.
