Primary, Ebtedayee terminal exams begin Sunday
Dhaka: This year’s Primary and Ebtedayee terminal examinations will begin on Sunday across the country.
Over 32 lakh students from schools and madrasahs have been registered to sit for the examinations which will end on November 27.
Some 2, 857 students with special needs from schools and 90 others from madrasahs will appear at the examinations.
The examinations will be held from 11 am to 1:30 pm on the scheduled day. However, the students with special needs will get additional 20 minutes.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman will visit Lalbagh Agrani School and College centre of primary terminal examination on the first day of the examination.
The examinations will begin in 7,194 centres, including 11 overseas ones, with English on the opening day.
Examination on Bangla will be held on November 21, Bangladesh and Global Studies on November 22, Elementary Science and Arabic on November 23 and Religion and Moral Education and Quran and Tajweed and Aqaid and Fiqha on November 24 and Mathematics on November 27.
