Dhaka: Professor Syed Ahsanul Alam, Chairman, Executive Committee of  Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, has been honoured by art and culture based organization Bangla Darpan in recognition to his outstanding contribution to the country’s banking and investment sector.

Professor Dr. A.A.M.S. Arefin Siddique, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University handed over a crest at a function organised at Dhaka University Senate Bhaban on Saturday, said a press release.

Freedom Fighter Ltn Col (rtd) Nazrul Islam Hiru MP, State Minister for Water Resources and high profile dignitaries were present on the occasion.
