Primary, Ebtedayee, JSC, JDC results handed over to PM
Dhaka: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over copies of the results of this year’s Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations as well as Primary Education Completion (PEC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee examinations to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday morning.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received the result about 10:30am at her official Ganobhaban residence.
The education minister will announced the detail result in a press briefing at the conference room of his ministry at about 12:00noon. Later, the results will be published on the ministry’s website.
Around 22.50 lakh candidates sat for the examinations that began on November 1 and continued till 17 November.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mustafizur Rahman Fizar will then hand over the copies of results of this year’s Primary Education Completion (PEC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee examinations to the Prime Minister.
Mustafizur Rahman will then announce the results at a press briefing.
Along with the respective educational institutions, the PEC results will also be available at www.dpe.gov.bd and http://dpe.teletalk.com.bd.
The PEC and its madrasa equivalent Ebtedayee exams began on 20 November and ended on 27 November across the country with the participation of over 29 lakh students.
The examinations took place at 7194 centers across the country and 11 centers abroad.
