Dhaka: A two-day ‘Adivasi Cultural Festival 2017’ will begin at Bakultala of Dhaka University on Friday.

CHT Regional Council Chairman Jyotirindro Bodhiprya Larma will inaugurate the festival to be arranged by Institute for Environment and Development (IED).

Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will attend the programme as the Chief Guest.

Adivasi cultural activists from plain and hill tracts and popular Bengali cultural troupe will participate in the event.

The two-day event will start every day at 9am and continue until 9pm.

The programme will end on Saturday.
