Dhaka: Pallikabi Inter Club Debate Competition which is organised by Kabi Jashim Uddin Hall Debating Club got underway on Thursday at Kabi Jashim Uddin Hall, Dhaka University. It will continue till 3rd April.

There were 40 teams participating in the first round, of which 22 reached the second round. The second round will start on Friday morning.

The opening ceremony of the 9th Pallikabi Inter Club Debate Competition was held at Kabi Jashim Uddin Hall auditorium at 6:00pm. 

Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. A A M S Arefin Siddique was present as the chief guest of this ceremony. Dean of Business Studies Faculty Professor Dr. Shibli Rubaiyatul Islam, Moderator of Dhaka University Debating Society Professor Dr. Mahbuba Nasrin and Provost of Kabi Jashim Uddin Hall Professor Rahmat Ullah were present as special guests.
