Dhaka: Two students of Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT) of Dhaka University have received the 'ISRT Golden Jubilee Award-2017' for their outstanding academic results.

The awardees are M Mainul Islam and Rownak Jahan Tamanna.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique handed over the awards to the students as the chief guest at a programme held at the seminar room of the ISRT on Sunday, said a press release.

Acting director of the institute Prof M Ishrat Rayhan presided over the function.
