Dhaka: United International University (UIU) Finance Forum organised a national finance competition, FOCUS-17, which provided two-day training for the participants on 21 and 23 May.

The two days of training was divided into two slots.

In the first day of training the trainers covered Financial Statement Analysis and its implications in real life. In the second day of training, the trainer covered the capital budgeting and manipulation in Financial Statements.

Total 176 participants attended the training session. The first round of FOCUS-17 held on 21 May. From 176 participants, top 60 were selected for second round. The second round was held on 23 May. From 60 participants, top 16 were selected for final round.

The Prize Giving Ceremony of FOCUS-17 will be held on 9 July.
