‘No two exams in a day’

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Friday said that two exams will not be taken on the same day to end the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations amid the non-stop blockade.
Rather, the minister urged parents to encourage their children and to keep them happy in this condition.
Nahid made the statement while visiting Mathijheel Ideal School and College during the English Paper-1 examination on Friday.
This examination was scheduled on February 8 but later, it was postponed due to the hartal called by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
Targeting 20-party alliance, Nahid said ‘Don’t hamper the study of children in the name of politics.’
Almost 15 lakh students are taking part in the SSC and equivalent exams that started on February 6.
