The registration process for admission test in the first year honors courses of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia under academic session 2015-16 will begin on September 13 and it will continue till October 15, an IU press release said here today.

The decision came from a meeting of the academic council with vice chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Hakim Sarker in the chair at his conference room. IU registrar SM Abdul Latif conducted the meeting while all the faculty’s dean and departmental chairmen attended.

Applicants will have to register for the admission test by sending SMS through any Teletalk cell phone number. Detailed information of the admission test is available on the university website: www.iu.ac.bd.

A total of 1,465 students will get admission in 22 departments of the university this year.

The admission test will be held from November 15 to 19.
