IU to launch three new departments
Kushtia: Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has decided to launch three more departments from the new academic session 2015-16.
Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University (IU) Professor Dr Abdul Hakim Sarkar disclosed this at a meeting of the admission test committee (2015-16) at his office on Saturday.
The three departments are Folklore, Public Administration department under Humanities and Social Science faculty and Marketing department under Business Administration faculty. The total number of departments in the university is now 25.
A total of 230 students will be admitted in the newly introduced departments.
Professor Hakim told BSS that the online registration process for admission in the new departments will begin on Sunday and will continue till 15 October.
