Dhaka: The National University (NU) on Monday published the results of its Degree pass, subsidiary and certificate examinations of 2013 with a pass rate of 71.49 percent.

Some 108,357 students out of 151,576 examinees came out successful in Degree (pass) examinations this year, said a handout.

Of the successful candidates, 34,559 passed from Bachelor of Arts (BA) group while 48,287 from Bachelor of Social Science (BSS), 23,684 from Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and BBS, and 1,827 students passed from Bachelor of Science (BSc) group.

Besides, 1,369 students out of 2,464 came out successful from certificate course examination this year.

Out of 226,532 students, 207,460 passed the Degree first year examination while 142,128 examinees out of total 151,507 second year examination.
