Dhaka: BNP is going to roll out its own election manifesto for the 11th parliamentary elections on Tuesday, a day after launching of the election manifesto by its alliance Jatiya Oikyafront.

BNP senior leaders, led by its secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, will present the party’s manifesto at a city hotel at 11am, BNP Chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan on Monday, reports the UNB.

He said BNP’s election manifesto has been formulated in light of its Vision ‘2030’ presented by the party’s chairperson Khaleda Zia in May, 2017.

The ruling Awami League is also set to unveil its election manifesto on the same day.

Meanwhile, Jatiya Oikyafront, the key alliance of BNP, presented its 35-point election manifesto with various promises, including ensuring the balance between the power of the President and the Prime Minister, and introducing upper house in Parliament.

Dr Kamal Hossain, the chief of the alliance, unveiled the election manifesto at a city hotel.
