Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ICT Affairs Adviser and son Sajeeb Wazed Joy on Sunday expressed his firm optimism about the win of the ruling party in the 11th general election.

‘I am fully confident about the win,’ he said while talking to reporters after casting his vote at Dhaka City College center in the morning, reports the UNB.

He said that he is optimistic about the win as people of the country will go for development. ‘They will vote for Boat, they will make the Boat win for another term so that we can advance the ongoing development,’ he said.

Joy also said that last couple of months BNP-Jamaat and the war criminals were trying hard to make the election controversial and they were lobbying in foreign lands.

He said that everybody knows that there is no scope of win of BNP-Jamaat. ‘They are giving long list after killing our people,’ he added.

Joy said that BNP-Jamaat clique unleash terrorist acts and whenever police arrest them they say that police are arresting the terrorists for nothing.

‘They will kill people, carry out terrorist activities and they can’t be arrested, these killing should be stopped,’ he said.

He hoped the killing spree of the BNP-Jamaat clique will be stopped after today. ‘Today is the election day, they will have no option after today,’ he said.
