Dhaka: Popular actors Farhana Mili and Nayeem have paired up for a telefilm Kalponar Canvas (Kalpona’s Canvas) recently.

Nila has been suffering from dissociative syndrome disorder. Nila, like other people with this acute mental disorder, experiences a disconnection and lack of continuity between thoughts, memories, surroundings, actions and identity.

She has had a keen interest in painting since childhood. She gets an opportunity to arrange an exhibition soon after her marriage. One day during the exhibition she meets an artist Kalpona Chatarjee, and Nila since then thinks herself as the artist.

Nila fails to recognise anyone she knew before including her husband. But, everything else seems normal with Nila. The story moves forward.

Directed by Moyukh Bari, the telefilm will be telecast on 5 November at 7:50pm on Massranga.
