The grand finale of the GTV Fanta Band on 13 December 2015 unveiled the country’s first teen sensation in a gala event attended by the cream of the crop from the media and notable personalities in the musical world in Bangladesh. Aside from the guaranteed fun that comes with anything to do with Fanta, the event had a festive air and featured great music.

Five of the talented singers from the next generation, after weeks of hard work finally have the opportunity to realise their lifelong dreams of musical stardom. They have gone through shortlisting, vetting, grooming and now they’re poised to be the first teen band of the country.

Coca-Cola Bangladesh managing director Shadab Khan announced Shemonti Billal, Pranto Biswas, Marufa Jannat Trisha, Md. Zahidul Hassan and Oindriza Reza Nodi as the winners of GTV Fanta Band. A music video of the winning band has been displayed to the audience. GTV Fanta Band came up with two original songs composed by Fuad in the music video.

After an extensive search for talent the teens we have up here today are the best of the league. Fanta has always been a brand centered on fun and youthfulness, and we are proud to support this youth-led platform for youngsters. The GTV Fanta Band was a fun journey for the music loving, zaniest, vibrant, hip and carefree teens who will use their music and their popular appeal to speak to the youth of the country. Nothing speaks to the youth like beats of music and Fanta’s creation of this platform can inspire the youth nationwide to follow their passions and participate more actively in music.

The judges for the competition, Elita Karim, Jon Kabir and Fuad Al-Muqtadir, are musicians of very reputed backgrounds and musical career path, and through their selection have made a deciding choice for the future of the country’s next generation music.
