The starry event of 63rd Jio Filmfare Award brought biggest stars under one roof. Stars celebrated the best of Bollywood in the year 2017.

Versatile actress Vidya Balan kissed the ‘Black Lady’ as she won the award for Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) for ‘Tumhari Sulu’ during the 63rd Jio Filmfare Awards 2018, held at the Dome, NSCI, SVP Stadium, Mumbai on January 20, 2018.

It seems that Vidya Balan is back to her winsome ways. In the movie, she played the role of an ambitious housewife, who becomes a radio jockey for a late-night relationship advice show, reports the Times of India.

Actress Vidya Balan, who shares a close bond with Bollywood’s evergreen diva Rekha, was presented with Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) award by none other than Rekha. It was a touching moment for Vidya to receive the award from her idol.

Vidya Balan has always been vocal about her love and admiration for veteran actress Rekha.

Vidya Balan, who bagged the Filmfare Best Actor in Leading Role (Female) Award for ‘Tumhari Sulu’, has won six Filmfare Awards in the past.

She has played leading roles in several films that has earned her accolades. Vidya made her Bollywood debut with musical drama ‘Parineeta’, which garnered her a Best Female Debut award and a Best Actress nomination at the Filmfare Awards.
