The czarina of Indian television and head honcho of Balaji Telefilms, Ekta Kapoor, is on a roll.

Apart from an interesting bouquet of shows currently in the pipeline, she is soon going to launch another web series.

With some of the best web series already in her kitty, Ekta is set to bring another out of the box concept in the form of a web show.

It will be based on the ancient Hindu text, Kama Sutra, which is considered to be the standard work on human sexual behaviour in Sanskrit literature, reports the Bollywoodlife.com.

According to the latest buzz, the series will be set in the backdrop of Rajasthan. To be produced on Ekta’s digital platform ALT Balaji, the show will be based on the Goli caste.

It is assumed that the women of the caste would serve as the illicit partner of the married kings.

They were housed in the royal palace and utilised all the luxuries and advantages of it. Moreover, they were not treated as prisoners but they had their own privileges and freedom. Some reports suggest that Ekta has been planning this concept since a long time.

She is now in search of a director who would be handling the topic with utmost care. However, there is no official announcement on the same.

Other than this web series, Ekta is up for some path-breaking entertainment content. Besides, she launched the first poster of the much awaited Naagin 3.

On the other hand, the audience is eagerly waiting for Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s spin off, Yeh Hai Chahate, which will be based on Sound Of Music.

Rumours are also rife that she will be producing another supernatural show for Star Plus, and TV version of Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic movie, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

With all these on her platter, she is surely on a roll to take all the mediums by storm.
