Sui Dhaaga - Made In India memes starring Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan have been blessing Instagram and Twitter timelines. After the Sui Dhaaga trailer released on August 13, the internet immediately did its thing and turned the story of a small town couple Mamta (Anushka) and Mauji (Varun) chasing dreams and struggling to find intimacy into memes, reports the Hindustan Times.

The Sui Dhaaga trailer shows Varun as Mauji, a tailor from Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, while Anushka plays his wife and embroidery expert, Mamta.

The film is about finding love and respect through self-reliance. Its plot is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and takes a leaf out of the Make In India campaign.
