The world stood witness to Priyanka Chopra’s wedding to Nick Jonas. The two stars, who announced their engagement in August last year, tied the knot at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur in December. Although it was a private ceremony, the wedding photos have taken over the internet. Every passing day, we gain access to newer photos and it just gets us extremely excited. However, did you know it was not going to be an Indian destination wedding to begin with? Yes, PeeCee had a different wedding planned in her head.

The Isn’t It Romantic? star recently appeared on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and revealed that she wanted to get married on an island. ‘I wanted to get married on some private Island away from everything and we were like really stressed out about it. We thought Seychelles, Maldives, Mauritius or whatever. And nothing was working out,’ she explained, adding that the conversation took place when they were in Mumbai, reports the bollywoodlife.com.

‘Nick said, ‘Why aren’t we doing this in India? Shouldn’t I be taking my bride from her home?’’ And that’s how the venue changed. Looking at the wedding photo, she gushed, ‘He looked like a prince. He rocked that turban.’

Priyanka and Nick have been painting Instagram red with their romance. The two cannot stop commenting on each other’s posts and their PDA packed photos are redefining adorableness. Check out these pictures for proof.

Priyanka will soon be seen in the Hollywood movie Isn’t It Romantic, releasing just in time for Valentine’s Day.
