Bappa released first Rabindra Sangeet album

Popular musician and music director Bappa Mazumder released his first Rabindra Sangeet album. The album, ‘Bedhechhi Amar Pran’, was launched on 12 April at a restaurant in the capital. Television personalities Shankar Sawjal, music director Partho Mazumdar, among others, were present at the launching event which was facilitated by musician Hasan Abidur Reza Jewel.
Presented by Brac Bank, the album is released from Girona Bangladesh. The album, directed by Bappa himself, contains eight songs.
‘I directed Rabindra Sangeet albums for others. I also wanted to make my own Rabindra Sangeet album’, said Bappa.
Asked about the songs Bappa said, ‘I tried to retain the original tunes of the songs. I was careful in music arrangement as well. The rest is up to the listeners’,
‘My mother wanted me to bring out a Rabindra Sangeet album. If she was alive, she would have been happy. I have dedicated the album to my parents’, Bappa added.
The album is available on 750 portals across 210 countries. The songs could be enjoyed as of now if anyone dials 3333 from one’s Robi or Grameenphone number.
