Since her debut as a playback singer in Devdas (2000), Shreya Ghoshal, the star songstress of Indian cinema has been offering a stream of hit numbers to music aficionados.

The list of her Bollywood hits includes 'Bairi Piya' (Devdas), ‘Piyu Bole’ (Parineeta), ‘Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai’ (Jism), ‘Saathiya’ (Singham), ‘Teri Meri’ (Bodyguard), ‘Tum Hi Ho Meri Aashiqui’ (Aashiqui-2), and ‘Manwa Lage (Happy New Year), to name a few. Her sweetened and magical voice has been a spring of fiction for many and a strong muse to others.

The ace singer tied the knot on Thursday night (February 5) with her long-standing beau Shiladitya, who is the founder of hipcask.com.

The heart-throb singer Shreya Ghoshal (born 12 March 1984) posted a wedding photograph with her new life partner on her Facebook page at 8:35am on Friday confirming the marriage.  

“Married the love of my life yesterday night (5th feb) in a beautiful bengali traditional wedding in presence of our families and closest friends. Shiladitya and I both seek your good wishes in this exciting new phase of our lives!” her Facebook page read.

Multi-faced singer Shreya Ghoshal tweeted five days ago about being super-excited and nervous.

"Don’t know if I’m super nervous or super excited.. Never felt like this b4. Whatever I am up to I will let u know soon;) but need ur wishes," she wrote.

But little did anyone know what she was really talking about, and her fans are going to be amazed at finding out that Shreya has tied the knot with childhood friend and long-time beau Shiladitya, in a private ceremony. 

Ghoshal, who tweets almost every day, has been missing in action for the last five days. Her last tweet was on 30 January. But nobody could have predicted that she had gone covert, and was secretly busy with her wedding arrangements.
