‘Ityadi’ goes to Dinajpur

Popular magazine show ‘Ityadi’ redefined magazine show concept when it introduced outdoor shooting about some decade ago. These days ‘Ityadi’ is known for presenting its viewers with various picturesque locales of the country as it continues to shoot all episodes on historically or naturally significant places of the country.

Keeping up with this trend, the latest episode of magazine show ‘Ityadi’ has been shot on 18 December at the Dinajpur’s archeologically and historically significant place — Kuthibari, which is now used as the sector headquarters of the Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB). Defying the biting cold, thousands of people thronged to the venue to experience the recording of this famous magazine show.

‘Ityadi’ is synonyms with quality documentaries that are inspirational and enlightening at the same time. On this episode, viewers will be able to see a documentary that will zoom in on the grandiose history and tradition of Dinajpur. In another documentary, the life and works of Dhamrai’s Taposh Naresh Chondro Adhikary will be portrayed who is an inspirational figure due to his sheer dedication in the teaching profession. There is an awareness building documentary which is pictured on Gazipur’s Government Mohila College’s Assistant Professor of Mathematics – Aminul Islam Titus. In an inspirational documentary on Cox-Bazar’s Jannatul Bokeya Mamuni, viewers will be mesmerised by this young girl’s discipline, punctuality, leadership quality and benevolent nature. There is also a humanitarian documentary on Dinajpur’s born blind van driver Mohasin Ali and his family.

This episode of Ityadi also contains an interesting segment that highlights the facebook fan page of Dhaka’s USA Embassy. Hanif Sanket takes an interview of Ambassador Marcia Bernicat for this segment. The foreign segment focuses on Turkey’s Bosphorus Bridge.

December — the month of Victory has been celebrated through a patriotic number by renowned singer Andrew Kishore. The song is penned by Mohammad Rofiquzzaman and composed by Ali Akbar Rupu. There is also a nicely choreographed patriotic dance number participated by dance artists of Dinajpur. Actors: Ariful Haq and Masud Ali Khan make grand comeback in this episode of ‘Ityadi’ after a hiatus. Ariful Haq these days is absent in cultural arena as he has settled in abroad while Masud Ali Khan has recently recovered from illness. They will be seen in thought provoking skits. Besides, the regular invited guests segment, comedy skits, nani-nati, mama-vagne segment, et al promise to provide ample food for thoughts and entertainment to the viewers. ‘Ityadi’s’ art direction is given by Mukimul Anwar Mukim. Produced by Fagun Audio Vision and sponsored by Keya Cosmetics Limited, ‘Ityadi’ is emceed by renowned TV host Hanif Sanket.
