Sayem Shakir is a talented person, not only as an academic scholar but also as a musical instrument performer.

He completed his bachelor degree from University of Sydney, and master’s degree from University of Technology Sydney.

Besides studying, he started collaborating with international performers in Sydney. Now he is a famous performer in Sydney — DJ Sayem.

From the successful years of being the Resident DJ of Constellation Cruises, Sayem went into digital music and music video production. Since 2012, most of his music videos were played in Gaan Bangla Television in Bangladesh.

Today, he is the only Bengali artiste in Australia who has stepped in to the arena of concerts where he performs along with superstars such as Arjun, Mickey Singh, Fazilpuria and Bilal Saeed at top notch venues such as the Hard Rock Cafe, Ivy Pool, and Homenight Club. He follows his passions and we see his talent grow every time with his new productions. He has original Bangla songs as well as famous Bollywood song remix ‘Jane Jana Remix’, which has hit 100k, views in YouTube. Not to forget, his smash hit track ‘Koi Roila’ with Bangla Mentalz, which took off and has 1 Million hits on YouTube.

DJ Sayem was spotted at the Origin Cricket Finals where he performed his hit tracks in the break. The crowd enjoyed with utmost fascination.

DJ Sayem is affiliated with Cinefekt Entertainment and new projects include a music video for Mosharrof Karim’s short film ‘Tobuo Bhalobasha’.

A new album, The New Era, is on its way that is going to be released in the coming year where all his tracks will be available for listeners.

He also collaborated with very talented singer Aches Khan, rap artist Bluntz and singer Tanjina Islam as well.
