Popular actress Mousumi Hamid is now a TV anchor too. She has been hosting ‘Cute: Ajker Anonnya’, a popular game show on GTV.

When asked about reason for becoming a TV host, Mousumi told NTV Online, ‘[Like acting] hosting a progamme is very challenging too. I didn’t want to miss the chance when I was offered to become a host. I thought why not grab this opportunity to have this experience! That’s the reason I’m hosting this show. And, it’s fun too.’  

Tushar Jamal, producer of the show, said, ‘Taniya Ahmed, Farhana Nisho, and Badhon, among others, have had hosted this programme. We chose Mousumi Hamid this time. Mosumi is an animated girl with talent. She has made the show very interactive. The audience seem to like her as well.’   

Mousumi Hamid earned praises for her acting in TV dramas, and created buzz for her performance in several movies. She had also done ‘item songs’ for movies.

Her notable movies are ‘Jalaler Golpo’, ‘Purnodoirgho Premkahini 2’, ‘Black money’.

Mousumi will start shooting for several movies from the mid-2017.
