Young and talented musician Asheq Manzur is all set to end his three-year hiatus with a brand new music video titled ‘Deyaler Opare’. Written by Retromaniac Nafis, this dark side romantic song is tuned, sung and composed by Asheq himself.

When asked about this three year long break, Asheq said, ‘I was doing music for an upcoming movie ‘Jajabor.’ All the soundtracks of this movie are close to my heart and I was able to feature many popular singers for the soundtracks of this movie. Momtaz, Andrew Kishore, Nachiketa, Anupam Roy, Anweshaa and many others were featured by me for this film. Apart from this, I was also busy with my new recording and dubbing studio ‘My Lab.’ This recording studio has all the state of the art facilities and many super hit film’s dubbing has already been done at this studio. Besides I was also busy in making jingles.’

So why did you feel the need to come up with such an expensive music video amid this stagnant audio industry? Asheq replies, ‘Actually the marketing of the audio industry has changed drastically within a short period of time. Nowadays music industry thrives on Youtube based releases and eye-catching music video with good quality song can give a really good mileage in terms of professional success of a musician. I would like to join the bandwagon and I also feel the need to do justice with the song ‘Deyaler Opare’.

So what is so special about this music video? Asheq quipped, ‘Everything is special and different and for the first time, Bangladeshi viewers will be able to see the performance of the beautiful Mallobika Banerjee who is going to be launched here through this music video. She has already won laurels in Kolkata based Bengali films such as Mr. Funtoos, Chorabali, Tope, Amar Prithibi, et al. I am very happy with her performance in this music video.

The shooting of this music video has been done in the Burdwan House in Kolkata’s Alipore where Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukon starrer film ‘Piku’ was shot. In terms of visual presentation, I also put great emphasis and I believe that can be seen in the quality of every frame of this music video. Kolkata’s Roze Alam did a tremendous job as the Director of Photography (Dop) and video direction was given by Zafrul Hassan Leman.’

‘Deyaler Opare’ is going to be released by 3p Production on their official YouTube channel as part of their Eid release.
